Andrea is an accomplished consultant and advisor to private and public sector organizations, having honed her expertise over the past 15 years. Her education includes a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Colorado.

She has worked with an array of significant clients including the NASD, the NYSE, Corporate Express, the FDIC, and CitiGroup to improve the functions within their operations. An independent consultant since 2000, the thrust of her work has been related to analysis and performance studies, and evaluation and measurement efforts for education and training organizations. Her work in evaluation and in creating test items is broad and all-encompassing. Additionally, she has significant experience in software interface design, human factors, and the development of business management systems. While in college at Purdue, Andrea worked as a human factors engineer for a manufacturing company in Ft. Wayne, IN. In this role she completed different projects in this realm, ranging from time-motion studies, ergonomics, and man-machine interface design.

Andrea also is a process ďjunkieĒ. Everything she does, both personally and professionally, has to do with improving processes. She has an eye for considering that each and every opportunity can be looked at as a process that needs optimized. Managing projects is one of Andreaís areas of expertise. In her past role as a project manager for a consulting company, she consistently managed projects on time, under budget, and with glowing reviews from her clients.

Andrea is recognized as a leader in her profession. From 1997 through 2003, she served on the ISPI international conference planning committee and on that organizationís board of directors from 2004 to 2006. She currently is the Deputy chair for ISPIís Certification and Accreditation Governance Board. She currently is the chair of the Accreditation subcommittee, which consists of overseeing and participating in the design of and development of accreditation standards for programs, department, and vendor products. She was also part of the Proofpoint Systems, Inc. teams receiving the 2005 and 2011 Outstanding Human Performance Intervention awards from ISPI. In addition, she served as president of ISPIís Front Range chapter from 2002 to 2004 and is currently Vice President of membership.  Andrea recently published an article entitled, Working with Your Local School District: A Tale of Two Cities (Performance Improvement, 2011) describing her experience in performance improvement and Denver Public Schools (DPS). She also serves on the marketing committee (with the schoolís principal and a DPS staff specialist) of a DPS high school devising strategies to increase enrollment for that particular school.  Andrea can be contacted at
